I learned how to speak some yoruba and also cook some of the local dishes. I am married to a wonderful Nigerian man and the overall my experience was both educational as well as enjoyable, I look forward to returning. During my time there we visited so many different parts of Nigeria and the waterfall where the water runs hot and cold, very nice but I will say I never had the palm wine, I just couldnt stomach the smell.
