The Avoca river in Co. Wicklow, Ireland, swells and breaks its banks due to melting snow and overnight rainfall. Captured at around ten o'clock on Saturday 16th January 2010.

  • Unfortunately not. We we're in the middle of getting some shots for a music video, and we didn't have time to shoot anything else. If it happens again I might dedicate a day to shooting the water. Having said that, it might not get that epic again for a while!

  • You should get some pictures of Hurricane Charley and put them in the vid

  • We will be in Wicklow, including Avoca in 3 weeks. Are things back to normal?

  • Excellent footage of these epic conditions.

    Any chance of anymore? This is being viewed by a lot of Wicklow river kayakers

    who have not seen these sort of water conditions before..
