Dalai Lama was appointed by the Chinese government just like his predecessors. People in the west are easily brain-stained by their governments.
I practice Buddhism, but I am not a fan of Dalai Lama, in fact I regard him as a terrorist. As I have lived most of my life in the west where I sufferred human rights abuses and witnessed my fellow citizens sufferring in silence by the same corruption, I am deeply resentful towards western governments' criticism of China on human rights issues.

What happened in Tibet in March 2008 is a pre-meditated terrorist attack by Dalai against Chinese people with support from his western allies. Just look at the lies that the US packed Falungong news NTDTV and the western media's one sided China-smear campaigns. Western leaders even asked China to restrain towards rioters, and they have no balls to call on David Cameron to restrain towords rioters, DO THEY?!
It's sad to see innocent people worshipping a terrorist, but they will learn.

The then Australian PM Kevin Rudd and NZ PM Helen Clark called on China to exercise restraint on Tibetan rioters. Restraint is a word for conflicts between 2 hostile sovereignties. As neither Australia nor NZ recognises Tibet as a seperate country, Kevin Rudd and Helen Clark had both made fools of themselves. And both of the them lost the top job, HA karma served them right!

Western democracies are not only wasting their taxpayers’ money supporting the terrorists like the Dalai Lama, but also making their people vulnerable to these dangerous organizations.
The allegations that the head of Canberra's Tibetan Buddhist community Lama Choedak had sexual relationships with several female students emerged late 2010. And the women received stern warnings from senior foreign figures in the Tibetan Buddhist movement against them going public. Canberra Times 1/5/11

Before 1959 Tibet was a theocracy ruled by the monks and the privileged wealthy classes who lived in luxurious palaces - 95% of the population were serfs (basically slaves) living under the most horrendous conditions and abject poverty.. "Infractions" by the serfs were punished by the lopping off of arms and the plucking out of eyeballs This doesn't sound so non-violent to me!

Im christian but I think this guy is truly a remarkable human being!
And I love how if someone has a different religion he just would just say "I respect your religion/views etc." whereas most religious figures would preach about how they're right.
