Because You Lighten Up My Heart When I Start To Cry

Last week, at the horse show I went to, my dad noticed something odd about our trailer tire-Axel grease splattered all over it. When he took a closer look he saw that it wasn't connected, meaning that A) we were lucky to have made it all the way to the show, and B) we wouldn't be able to get home without seeing it rolling down the road past the truck. We had to get a ride home and don't have a trailer, meaning that my green horse who can't be ridden after a day off unless we start in a round pen is on vacation.

Sandy, on the other hand? The poor boy isn't quite off the hook. ;) While we can't haul the the arena to ride, who's to say I can't ride Sandy around the field and driveway? And thats exactly what I did! I took Sandy out, tacked up in his beautiful western attire (complete with his new twisted wire broken mouth bit and romel reins), but on my cowboy boots and spurs, and rode off into the sunset... Or at least the into the sun... broken clouds? At any rate, he's going beautifully these days. His stops are amazing, and his amazing little western jog returned within days of riding him english last. :) Anyhow, all in all, today was amazing. Hope you like the video! :D
