I have no experience with this stuff but I want to make one at least an inch wide to use instead of the typical web sling for my AR. Will these fill this need?

omg that helps so much i was failing at the idea of putting like buckles on my projects

Could u do 2 colors so I know how to do it with 2 colors

this is two cobras next to each other and braided together. Didn't like this one myself but still a good job on the instructional! Prefer a king cobra to this but that is just me

if iam going to make a sling about 3 and a half feet long how much paracord would i use for that? can you make this wider by using 3 sets of braid instead of 2? would be nice if i could get it wider.

It would be awesome to tie another solomon bar over it! Dat would be a lot o paracord! :D

Just wondering if it's possible to "zigzag" the side that is "crisscrossed"...instead of having every strand slanted in one direction, can you switch it up? I've yet to make one of these so pardon me if it's impossible :)

Alternatively, couldn't I use two 1/2 inch buckles?.. I have tiny wrists (6 1/2 inch). I'm looking to attempting this and to attach 3 more of the bracelets 1/2 inch wider with each bracelet to create one of those wrist guard type of bracelets...
Hi JD, thank you for uploading very informative videos.. I have a question though that I need help with.. Where can I find/buy a side release buckle that is easy to put on.. I bought about some online and they are so hard to click on..although it's pretty secured, it's just so hard to put it on that people gets frustrated by this.. any suggestions are very welcomed! thanks in advance! :)

@tarquinbine - In all truth... I don't know. The buckle used in the video was pulled off an old bag of mine. I've yet to purchase side release buckles myself. That said, I'd go with whatever Stormdrane (user name) recomends. Otherwise I'd simply search the web and try out a few buckle types out. Or you could visit a fabric or craft store and see if you like the ones sold there (I've even seen them sold at hardware stores).
