Love is Like Soup: Ch3- Sin Pt2

I just love it when you guyz comment so I'm posting another part today!


"Why do you say that?" Kevin asked right away.

Joe started to sweat. How could his father possibly know about their relationship. Maybe Gary had said something. That was the only other person that knew about it. Joe then realized that his father had not mentioned his name in it. He just said 'Nick was gay.'

"Your mother caught Nick..." Paul let his sentence trail. "She caught him... kissing a boy."

"What?!" Joe yelled. "Who?"

"I dont know! Some boy at the camp!" Paul yelled back.

Joe just huffed loud. Nick cheated on him! How could Nick do something like that? Joe felt Kevin's arm tightly grip Joes. Joe remembered that he shouldn't be acting this way.

"I think you two knew about this!" Paul accused.

Both Kevin and Joe were flabbergasted. "Dad, what are you talking about? How would we have known about that?" Asked Joe in outrage.

"Maybe you being brothers and all, Nick told you, Joe. I think that this is why Nick was acting that way before he left. I think he must have told Joe and that was why you were acting the way you were until you told Kevin."

"I assure you, this is the first Ive heard any of this." Kevin lied easily. So what if he had known for twenty-four hours. What difference would that make?

"Joseph?" Paul questioned.

"That had nothing to do with what I told Kevin." Joe lied as well.

"What are you guys going to do to Nick?" Kevin asked, a little timid to get the answer.

"He's definitely going to be punished. Well find some kind of religious program for him to go to. Youll probably have to put the band on hold until we can get this fixed."

"Fixed!" Joe spat out. "Whats to fix? Hes still Nick. Theres nothing wrong with him!"

"Joe? Do you even hear yourself?" Paul asked disgusted. "Your brother is gay. It's wrong. It's disgusting. It's a sin above all else."

Joe remained silent, but his heart was full of angst. He didn't want to say anything he may regret. This was the reality of the danger of their relationship. Joe knew that if his parents had discovered the truth about the two, they wouldn't be able to live with the consequences. He couldn't do or say anything that he was going to regret later. "Yeah, I guess youre right."

(Kevin's Pov)

I was in complete shock as I listened to my own brothers conformity. How could he say something like that? I can agree with dad to some level, but Joe? It makes no sense. He should be standing up for Nick, not getting him in more trouble.

"I still think thats pretty harsh." I said in Nicks defense.

"Well, it doesn't matter. It's your mother and my decision." Dad walked out of the bed room. He was tired of fighting us on it.

"Joe, how could you?" I immediately questioned Joe.

Joe, rather than answer, threw his head to my shoulders and start to weep. "He cheated on me, Kevin."

I couldn't help but to feel bad for the boy. I rested my head on top of his with a sign. I held him until he was done crying. He fell back asleep on Nicks bed and I laid with him.

A/n I know you guys haven't been a fan of papa jonas in this series, now I know you will hate him more! LoL. No offence Mr. J.
