Nope, inside this plastic tags there´s a wire which set the alarm, when you pass through. The magnet is causing nothing.

Guys a couple things: 1, these magnets are at home depot, come in a 3 pack. boost a bunch of packs and magnet them all together and you have a powerful magnet for free 2. they work on spider-wires. that's right.. the ones at office max that secures all the tech stuff. 3. these magnets don't set off sensors 4. the reason some tags don't set off sensors when left on merchandise is that retailers buy "fake-tags" cheaper to deteur theft... don't risk leaving them on. 5. JUST TRY THE MAGS ON ANYTHING
