Nelena 12 ;; I Think I Love You...

"Yeah, I have something to tell you too.."
"Oh, okay, you go ahead."
David took a big breath and said, "Okay."

He took her hands in his.
She was startled and looked down at their hands.

"Selena.." He started.
She looked confused.
"We've been friends a long time. And to tell you the truth, I've always had a little bit of a thing for you.."

Selena blushed.

"And, I was just wondering if maybe.. you wanted to go out sometime, y'know, like on a date?"

Selena smiled. He looked so cute and nervous.
She knew that Nick had a girlfriend,
and she needed to get over him.

So, she nodded and said, "Of course I will."

"Awesome! Here, let me show you around the set.." David said, pulling her towards the door.

Nick was suffering through another chick flick with Nicole.
She was bawling like a baby, he rolled his eyes.

"N-n-nick, could you p-pass the tissues?" She said between sniffs.

He handed her the box and slightly scooted away from her on the couch.

Nick's phone rang.

It was a text from Miley:

Hey bud,
I just saw Lee and Dave.
They were holding hands..
Do you know what's up?

Let me know,

Miley

Holding hands!?
He felt sick to his stomach.
The 'make-Selena-jealous' plan was back firing.

"Um, excuse me for a second.." Nick said to Nicole, leaving the room.
She ignored him, she was too into the movie.

He walked into the next room and took a deep breath.

Then he heard the door open.

"I'm home!" Selena called.

Nick's head perked up, he smiled at the sound of her voice.
Then he walked quickly towards the front door.
But when he got there, he saw more than he wanted..

David.

"Oh, hey Nick!" David said.
Nick greeted him with a nod.
"Where's Nicole?" Asked Selena.
"Watching a movie.."
"Oh, let's join her!" Selena said to David.

The two of them walked past Nick.
He stood there alone for a moment, trying to regain composure.
Then headed back to the living room.

Selena watched him walk in.
He looked upset, and she could tell.
She watched him sit next to Nicole and put his arm around her.
It was almost as if he knew Selena was watching him.

The movie ended, and Nicole dried up the last of her tears.
"Hey, you know what would be fun!" She said.

Everyone looked over at her.

"A double date!"
David nodded and smiled.
"Yeah, that sounds like fun!"

Nick glanced over at Selena.
She stared back at him, worried.
After a moment, Selena shrugged.

"Eeeeee!" Nicole squealed, "How bout tonight!?"
"Sounds good to me," David said.

I don't think I can handle seeing him out with another girl.. Selena thought.

"C'mon, lets go get dressed!" Nicole said, pulling Selena up the stairs.

There's no way I can watch her on a date with some other guy.. Nick thought.

The girls were in Selena's room, trying to decide what to wear.

Selena had just thrown on a pair of skinny jeans and a tee.
She grabbed her tote and slipped on her flats and was ready to go.

Nicole was a different story.
After trying on nearly all of Selena's clothes, she still wasn't satisfied.
She complained about what shoes would match what, and which bag would look best.
Finally, after settling for a navy blue dress, Selena thought she was finished.

But, no.

Next she over-did her hair and applied way too much makeup.
Selena felt like saying something, but was afraid of offending her.

Nick knocked at the bedroom door

"Hey, just give us a few more mintes.." Selena said.
"But you never take this long?"
"It's not me.." Selena whispered, making sure Nicole couldn't hear her from the bathroom. "It's Nicole."

Nick widened his eyes.

"Dont tell me she's one of those girls.."
Selena nodded.
"Oh boy."
