  • Yes I believe he scored 571 tries and scored a total of 1,727 points, playing at winger, centre, stand off and full back to great effect a true Legend.

  • Does eveyone know he's a Cardiff boy and signed for Wigan when he was 17 yrs old ?

  • Yes, he told us the full story in the interview, lots of teams were chasing his signature at the time. It is quite funny how he eventually came to sign for Wigan.

  • What a legend, ive got a signed shirt from him

  • As a lad I was on the top deck of a double decker just going into Wigan. Someone said "Hey there's Billy". Everyone on the top deck rushed to the windows, its a wonder it didn't capsize. A truly great player.

  • Used to watch Billy Boston as a youngster. He was great !!

  • I saw the great man play a number of times in the sixties. He retired in 68 I think when Tom Van Vollenhoven retired from the Saints team. A huge loss to league when Billy retired.

  • top guy
