The Holy Quran: Surah 5 -- Al-Maidah: Verse 14:
'And from those who say, "We are Christians" We took their
covenant; but they forgot a portion of that of which they were
reminded [In the Gospel concerning the coming of Prophet Muúammad] So We caused among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. And Allah is going to inform them about what they used to do.'

The Holy Quran, Surah 8. Al-Anfâl Verse 30:
And (remember) when the disbelievers plotted against you (O Muhammad SAW) to imprison you, or to
kill you, or to get you out (from your home, i.e. Makkah); they were plotting and Allâh too was
planning, and Allâh is the Best of the planners.
