Ripley's Believe It or Not! Sword Swallower Swallows Swords UNDERWATER in SHARK TANK!

Sword Swallower Dan Meyer swallows a 30 inch sword with 24 inch long solid steel blade while submerged 20' underwater in a shark tank of 88 sharks and stingrays at Ripley's Aquarium, Myrtle Beach, SC on Friday, May 17, 2007 for Myrtle Beach Bike Week.

The amazing stunt was witnessed by aquarium visitors, several film crews, and over 40 million viewers on CNN, NBC, and over 400 TV stations around the world. The feat was captured in a Ripley's Believe It or Not! cartoon and published in the Ripley's Believe It or Not book in August 2008. Video footage used by permission of Ripley's Believe It or Not!
