  • You guys are disgusting. A woman is just as capable of operating machinery as men are. Whatever difference there may be on a road site could be just as likely be a boss with the same thoughts that you have. Women systemically are paid less than men in every industry, employment level, and education level.

  • Three things. 1) There's always at least two sides to a story. 2) Everywhere I ever worked there were women that weren't strong enough to do the heavy lifting, yet they were paid at least as much as the men and in some cases more. (Just look at what goes on at road construction sites and consider which gender is holding the Go Slow sign and which is using the jacker hammer.) 3) What is one to make with the fact that women on average live longer than men by several years.
