Wordpress Thesis Tutorial: How to write your first blog post and fill out SEO details

Hello it's Asher Fergusson here giving you a quick tutorial about how to write a blog post using the Wordpress Thesis Theme and to add it to your blog. So here we are at http://galaxyninja.com and the first thing you'll need to do is get into the back office of wordpress by typing wp-admin after the URL of your blog.

Then type your username and password and login. This will take you to the dashboard which is the behind the scenes administration of your wordpress blog website. This enables you to add and edit posts, add pages, or moderate your comments.

So we want to a post here on the left hand side and you then click "add new". The main elements you will need to know about are the title, body, SEO (search engine optimization) details, category and post tags. Here I have made a sample post - you want it to have an enticing title that will inspire people to click on your link and read your new blog post.
