1986 328e, totally stock engine (no, really, it's actually stock.) Pretty sure that the engine probably develops upwards of nearly possibly maybe as much as 90 horsepower. Best team lap, a whopping 2:33.7 and just over 70mph on the backstretch.

Competitive cars were doing laps in 3:20 or less, buh.

  • Awesome track but I don't recognize it. Colorado?

  • @seaton111 Thunderhill.

  • If the engine is in good condition you should have ~120hp, not 90hp. 90hp sounds like the M10 318i.

  • @M20Lover It's a lemons car so you can kind of guess the condition of it. :)

  • Looks like a 2:33 lap - Nice work for a bone stock 325e (Automatic)

  • @matt69ramona Yeah, I was pretty happy with it. I'm not the fastest driver on the track by far - I don't have much experience - but the line on that lap was pretty good. Trying to come back next year with an i or an e with a stick and try to do better.

  • damn these cars sound good. i have one too, except dual glasspack exhaust...people always think theres more to it but its just chipped haha.

  • @christopherblizzard Haha. You're right. Still, a cap and rotor, plug wires, spark plugs, air and fuel filters should net you a few horses.
