22 September 2010 - collecting Hyobanches in Koeberg Nature Reserve. Koeberg is a nature reserve that serves as a buffer zone for Eskom's Koeberg nuclear power plant. It includes an extensive sand dune system, which is the location for some movie sets that need a pristine dune field, plus typical strand veld vegetation and fantastic views of Table Mountain and other west coast scenes.

I was after two species of Hyobanche I've previously collected in this reserve. Part 1 includes a visit to "The Hut" to collect Hyobanche sanguinea.
