Burton Upon Trent in it's wonderful glory, and may I say What a wonderful history. Pubs, Swans, Geese, what more do you ask. Out with Coors back in with Bass, which is so sad but he is no more, They decided to change it to American Coor. He will be turning in his grave bless him. Stanyon and Holmes have gone down the sink, Woolworths are making a comeback,( they think), Burton market is not the same when it was born, And Bargates is looking oh so forlorn.
Enough of the not so good poem. here is a bit of Burton.
That did not rhyme. Typically it's the past I normally delve, Not looking forward to 2012.

Take heart,my friend. I just bottled my 1st attempt at the #3 Burton ale from the late 19th century. English ales intrigue me,for some reason. I'll be tweaking my recipe to get closer to the #3 Burton in the near future. I'll pass along the recipe when I think it's right.

Foriegners have taken over the old thetre on the KFC and TOWN road. And also the salt box. GREAT shakespears thetre is now going to be a crappy 1 star chicken kebab shop. Great!
