The 2 narrow defeats at Royal Ascot for SYT in 2011 are the races thats hurt SYT reputation, more then his other 2 loses at the Arc and Breeders Cup Classic where he had good excuses in both for losing. Still one of my favourite Horse in training!!!
I hope AOB doesnt race SYT at a mile in 2012 as he suggested after the BC Classic.
AOB should watch the 2009 Caulfield Guineas.

Best European g1 of the year imo. The battle down the straight between Rewilding and So You Think was awesome, a race i won't forget for a long time with all the hype surrounding the race regarding SYT in his first Uk start. The commentary was great also.

I don't think it was SYT's conditioning that caused him to lose this race as much as it was just a very poorly timed ride by Ryan Moore. The Prince of Wales's Stakes is another G1 win that should've been on SYT resume if he had been ridden correctly. JMO.

Frankie old son it was the horse not you.....this kind of self congratulatory pointing to oneself in victory nay be OK to the soccer terrace yobs but has no place in racing.

RIP rewilding... would of won the arc this year for sure... so you think was a great horse in australia, uk racing is a different prospect altogether though
