  • Took the words out of my mouth. This is one of the best scenes in television history. Freaked me out as a kid too.

  • This was a milestone in TV-history. I was 11 years old when I first saw this on TV, I've been a Twin Peaks freak ever since. The whole series is breathtaking but this scene is just unforgettable, I've never seen somthing like this on TV and I've never seen something afterwards that had such an impact on me. This leaves me speechless every time I see it. Even today, Bob scares the hell out of me...

  • such a beautiful representation of innocence and optimism crushed

  • Dude, you can't have the REVEAL of the mystery on youtube. If people have never seen Twin Peaks, you've just ruined 50-60% of the fun of the series!!

  • The best television series I have experienced in my lifetime. I'm sad that nothing has eclipsed it.

  • Wow, I love Twin Peaks and this is one of my favorite scenes. Everything about this is just perfect, the music, the clicking noise of the record player ... the whole atmosphere. It's true what people say about this series. It can make you laugh, cry and frightened in just one episode.

  • I really tried to like this series, but seriously, I watched the first few episodes of the firstm series and wasn`t entertained that much, rather bored actually, though these scenes at least had some kind of tense...

  • great show

  • @TheGhostsix Oh and one other thing the ring is not thrown in by Mike, BOB NEVER WANTED TO POSESS LAURA...he just wanted her dead when she began to see his true face (leyland's). I do like your theory though, good attempt despite it's flaws. Why wouldn't BOB just posess her earlier on when she didn't have the ring??. I know Twin Peaks is kind of reversed but come on. Leyland states when the ring is on Lauras hand "No, dont make me do this, no" what do you think he means? No i cant posess you!

  • @TheGhostsix Its my favourite film...I mean I know it word for word. You have your views, I'll have mine. BOB had been raping Laura since she was twelve, I've read her diaries and what BOB himself wrote in them. Sorry but this ring thing your on is wrong. Why would Agent Cooper tell Laura "Dont take the ring"?? if it saves her from being posessed by BOB. Once Laura places the ring on her finger, she has sealed her own fate, same as Teresa Banks, who the ring belonged to first.
