I believe that what makes a commercial truly effective is if the viewer remembers the name of the product long-term. The viewer is then more likely to buy that product instead of other brands.

Don't the Head-On people actually CAPITALIZE on claiming their commercials are BAD? :) I've never tried Head-On....  I wonder what it feels like, or if it gives people relief.
