If it DID work, it'd only be released as a last resort. There would be a lot of lost revenue if they released it early, or without proper patents and intellectual rights. People with power don't like the thought of not having that power anymore.

If available, I’d buy one now. Probably the biggest hurdle is getting past government-corporate interests that want everyone plugged into a centralized system – a perpetual contract of dependence, at our expense – that it controls.

It would be preferable to disengage from this system, and this seems like one great way to do that.

YOur first investment should be to hire bodyguards. You're not hte first to invent energy that would benefit the world. Have your main plans accessible to the public, but make a backup that can be released in case of your untimely demise. Also, please don't sell out. Even if offered 1 billion dollars, do the world a favor and release this. The human race deserves better than what we're currently forced to live with.
