  • A couple of things really strike me in the slow-mo. Look at his follow through from 0:22 to 0:26. AND look how far the ball carries through from 0:26 to 0:30.

  • Thanks William! This is so amazing. I've been trying to copy this since watching the normal speed version. It is extremely hard to just make contact with this motion but it definitely helps seeing it slowed down.

  • @ftkjazztrio You're welcome - we were thinking of running a little competition to see who can do the best copy of this serve. You youtube viewers vote for the best one and the winner gets 6 months of Platinum membership at ttEDGE.com worth $144.

    What do you think?

  • slow mo is how fast i serve

  • Difficulty Level: Asian

  • @gufbs

lol, i bet 100% of players in the top-1000 could return this without trouble. basically, it is just a fast topspin serve to the corner. it could be either blocked down the line, or looped wherever. lol, probably half the players at my club could return this serve. as soon as you saw the action you would know what was coming...

  • clearly it is an illegal serve, but still impressive!

  • No, twicky, he hits it with the other side of the paddle.

  • I think he hits it with the bottom of the racket. I thought It was backspin.

  • @tabletennisedge This video in slo-mo helped me a lot. I just tried this service a couple of days ago in my Meisterschaft against a good player and it just worked, of course some days before that I did some practice I mean a couple of hours and the result was quite impressive. I love the Tomahawk service from Matsudaira but this one is fast and very hard to bring back. Thanks

  • @gufbs if he couldn't, this kid would be top 20.

  • eso es falta de saque el bola no se separa 16 cm de la mano cuando la suelta

mano arriba quien piense lo mismo o se haya fijado
