That would have made sense, after all they were the best mac game developing company at the time, but I believe Bungie said they didn't agree to buyouts before because they didn't want to get stuck porting games to Mac all day, they wanted to make their own games. They only agreed with Microsoft because they had slight financial troubles and because Microsoft is more well know for making games then the other companies that offered.

Well it was going to be a Mac and PC game. They just showed it at MacWorld so Steve Jobs could prove that the Macs could have good games, too

It's too bad the machete never made it's way to Halo. But man, how I would have loved playing halo with the graphics!

Imagine if halo had been on the mac... the economy might not have been so bad with everyone buying an $800 mac just to play halo..
