She was wonderfull and strong till the end.....we knew each other many many years and i have lots of memories....especially when she talked me into doing that Cell Block Tango number!! LOL......A very sweet person but could be very sarcastic funny also.....she left all her drag to a good friend of mine........all of her trophys, dresses and photos and music.....we will keep forever.

Wow, I am so sorry I was unaware of this - Paul and I went to SWTSU in the middle 70's and we were good friends! Paul helped me a lot when I came out in 1973 and was a sweetheart. Her first drag name was "Pauletta Renee Leigh", later on, she would tell me, "Drop the Renee". I rarely missed a show, whether it was in an appartment or a bar in Austin, San Antonio, or in San Marcos! Loved Paul, he was the nicest person ever. The sweet hereafter is a better place with him there! Love ya Pauletta!

I had no idea Pauletta passed away. I will and have missed her since I left San Antonio. I tended bar at the Saint and she was always making me laugh. I have very special memories of Pauletta. Now, heaven is getting a drag show to die for, with Tandi Andrews, Chanel White, Sassy St. James, Brenda K. Star...and Raphael as the loving manager. I miss them all......

"Pauletta" was my 2nd grade teacher and later became a good friend to me and my friend Natasha Tokyo...I will forever miss her. I found my report card Pauletta, and you got an A+

Great video. I have fond memories of Pauletta Leigh who gave me great advice before my Jerry Springer show performance.
