This attack on the iphone is just a tactic to get teh internet regulated. They hide this by the fact of wanting an "open internet" but what people dont get...THATS REGULATION. Someone has to regulate to make sure the rules are being followed. Who is gonna make sure these companies follow the "open" rules? The FCC, Thats Who. It's Regulation in disguise of openness. And iPhone is the excuse to get it. This is the first attempt to get any type of regulation of the internet and is only the beginning. No one has any right to make apple use other carriers or allow other phones to use itunes. Is the fcc gonna tell apple what apps can be approved. It dont matter why they rejected it, its there private store and if they dont want an app its there business. The FCC has no right to use this "open internet regulation" to make the iphone OPEN!!!

  • The comment about older XP hardware not being able to run Win7 especially if hardware couldn't run Vista, I can say from experience that my hardware that was too old to run Vista ran Win 7 like a champ. My laptop, 1ghz 384mb ram runs Win 7 fine, if a little slow when trying to crunch Flash or multitasking.

Point is still valid though, if your computer was purchased when XP was first released, you probably need a new machine anyway.

  • So where will Emeek go to perform internet searches if he hates Google so much now?

  • Dumbass!!! Microsoft saved Apple from going bankrupt and you hate them? They saved Apple wich is your favorite company and you still hate them? And yes Old Windows XP machines can run Windows 7........ AppleSoldier you should be in love with Microsoft!!!!!! Apple would have been in the shitter if it wasn't for Microsoft!!!!!! Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are good friends so shut up!!!!! AppleSoldier you just got owned!!!!!!

  • I see Blender in your dock, Eric. I thought you didn't use that, or did you change? Or is that just there for archiving purposes?

  • Lol you talk as if google are almost at the mercy of apple, app store and iOS when you talked about their "last ditch attempt" HAHAH Not only is the Android Market growing much faster than the app store due to its open nature but Android itself has overtaken iOS in market share! After watching a lot of your videos applesoldier you seem like you have a vendetta against anyone who opposes apple. Competition is good for the market, but of course you wouldn't know that being an apple fanboy lol

  • @StainOnTheWall Youtubes average yearly income is well over 1 billion and googles total is over 8 billion, and the practically run the internet in America/Canada,

and if google was losing money they would drop it like a bad habit. google owns Yahoo, youtube multiple other companies (well over 20) they make enough to buy a good chunk of apple and force them do bend over and take it.

  • @NewsInKidsEyes lol! Google wishes! YouTube isn't even profitable yet! It's been more of a burden for Google that brings them tons of ad revenue but the amount of bandwidth that ALL the videos take up just completely outweighs everything they have tried.

  • you do know if google wanted to they could buy apple, and microsoft, and any other goddamn company, think in 2006 google bought youtube for 1.65 billion dollars and that was 4 years ago, now on that premise i am assuming youtube went up in worth by 4x in thos 4 years, 6.6 billion, the could buy any thing.

  • Hmmm... Microsoft should support hardware from almost 10 years ago? Fact check: Snow Leopard drops support for non-Intel hardware from before 2006. From the experience I've seen from users on forums and in articles, Windows 7 is good on old hardware. Though if you're running 10 year old hardware, it's time to upgrade anyway.

  • I fuckin love it! This is the way tech news should be done.
