This rare record is supposedly the only recording of Jelly Roll Morton's mid-twenties touring band. All of the other records he made around that time represent groups assembled just for a recording session. This is also one of first electrical recordings issued on Gennett, in 1926, although it still lacks much of the quality of labels such as Victor and Columbia.
Ray Bowling (tp), Clay Jefferson (dms), Jelly Roll Morton (pn & bj), unknown (tb, tsx and asx)
