I have a 1956 rude big twin but it looks a bit different than yours, I just got it it was under a guys house for 30+ years, I hope to make it electric start, it has some kind of compression release but I don't think it works!! its a BEAR to pull over. Hope to get her going as good as yours.

at first i hooked jumpers cables up to the starter straight to a battery to start it.us after that it started easy..., i goth mine out of the meatle bin at my dump
