  • Thanks for the video. I was wondering, on the pocket wizard is the cable connected to the pc sync port on that as well? I've only got some cheap triggers and was wondering if i could do that with mine.

  • @lukerobin01 yes it's connected to a sync port on the PW. The stand alone PW stays in your pocket or vest pocket for easy access when firing.

  • why didn't you just get a shutter remote?

  • @KarmagraphyBM I have one of those. The Wizards are for setting the camera far away from you and triggering it with the Wizards.

  • is there a release for the cable from the camera. My cable connector won't come out of my camera. It is stuck!

  • 'Why didn't you just get a shutter remote'? I think your missing the point of using pocket wizards - They got a massive range. You can also use this system to fire your remote camera with another camera. Great for sports photographers - Imagine one camera set up behind the goals of a soccer game, while your at the other end of the pitch. A defender hoofs the ball downfield and the opposing team collect the ball and shoot at goal. You press your shutter and the other camera captures the action.
