Quick Tip: In Sound Forge Pro you can change the volume in part of your file without changing the overall volume of the entire file. Right click on the waveform and choose Volume Envelope. Double click the volume envelope to add points and drag up or down on the line to raise or lower the volume.

  • Ehm, could someone tell how to save the finalized file with the volume-changes included?

Because, I tried to save an audio-file with the end faded out, but when I listen to the file outside the program, there is only a sudden stop, without the fade.

So somehow it wasn't applied and I wonder how I can save it along with the file.

    It's really strange...

  • i knew how to do this in vegas :)
