@The1910Phantom Oh, you HAVE to check it out--the whole movie's up on YouTube. If you're a PotO Phan, you will LOVE this. It's set in 1705 England and is the story of Gwynplaine, a clown disfigured with a Glasgow smile, and he falls in love with Dea, a blind girl who works in the carnivals with him. He feels unworthy of loving her because she can't see his face, and then, Duchess Josiana (who has a fetish for deformities) comes along and . . . Trust me, you have to see it, you'll love it.

@realmagiclover It is a beautiful love story; I love Gwynplaine and Dea together, they're so sweet. :) When I heard this song, it seemed to fit the inner torture Gwynplaine and Dea must have felt, knowing that another woman came between them.
