What's the difference between the animals we love and the animals we eat? One might have a name, the other doesn't. One is tagged "pretty" by pet stores, the other is labeled "tasty" by meat markets. And we love this animal while eating that animal, having no clue that merchants manipulated by means of cruelty behind the back, have successfully cut off the connection in between- both of them, are animals in the same measure.

一字之隔其實也是一線之隔，我們寵愛的動物和我們食用的動物，有什麼不一樣？一個可能有名字，一個沒有名字。一個被寵物商店掛上「可愛」的名牌，一個被肉品市場貼上「可口­」的標籤。然後我們一邊愛著這個動物，一邊吃著那個動物， 卻不知商人以殘酷的手段在背後操作著，並且成功的斷截了兩者之間的連結──

他們，同樣都是動物。

i like eating meat and all but i hate the way people go all out with it... i hate like the 2lb burgers and half pound burritos and shit like that i mean wow we could you know survive off of maybe a pound of meat a day if that. too much is just killing for no reason...humans are murdering monsters
