DANA FISHER WINS PONCA CITY GRAND NATIONALS 30 PLUS CLASS. VIDEO INCLUDES THE SHOT OF FISHER PASSING #413 TO TAKE THE LEAD. THIS VIDEO INCLUDES BOTH RACES AS WELL AS A LITTLE POST RACE CHATTER. SEE THE SECOND CLIP FOR THE POST RACE INTERVIEW AND THE TROPHY PRESENTATION.

Dana Fisher of Ponca City ran his first race of the 2009 Ponca City Grand Nationals on Wednesday and finished 2nd and raced again on Friday and finished 1st to earn him the Grand National Championship title for 2009 in the Plus 30 class. Fisher is also a Police Officer at the Ponca City Police Department. Fisher is on bike #621 and raced a hell of a race both days. Fisher rides Kawasaki's on the weekends and hopes to be riding a Harley very soon on weekdays since there is an opening for a new motorcycle officer at PCPD.

MOTO 1 DETAILS:
Fisher took the lead on the start and held it until lap 4 and was passed just before the white flag was waived. Fisher is on bike #621 and on the 6th and final lap came across to take the checkered flag in 2nd place.

MOTO 2 DETAILS:
Coming out of the gates Dana Fisher was side by side for the lead but got hung up and fell back to 6th place but managed to move up to the #4 position before the overpass ramp and on lap 2 Fisher fought his way into the 3rd spot. Fisher continued to dig deep and on lap 3 he was riding in the #2 position and was just behind the winner of Moto 1 #413 Kevin Seamans of Lake Village, AR. Fisher had to win moto 2 and Seamans had to finish 3rd or worse for Fisher to win it out right. On laps 4, 5 & 6 Fisher was still trailing Seamans and was in second place. Right after the start finish line of lap 6 Fisher took the long route in the first turn and the long route in the 2nd turn to take the lead and held it for laps 7 & 8 for the win. Seamans fell back and finished 3rd giving Fisher the outright win for the Ponca City Grand Nationals.
