  • Hi thanks for putting up this video, its really scary to see this happening,my ne[hew who is about 13 months had 3 seizures in the past day...please help what do we do to stop this??????

  • @2010razi Unfortunately, there is nothing to do. Your nephew might be referred to a neurologist for an MRI to check for brain anomalies, but some doctors wait until more seizures before doing that... if his parents are concerned about getting an MRI I am sure their pediatrician can refer them to a good neurologist. My son had 1 seizure and then 3 in the next fever. That is when he was referred.

  • God bless him :(

  • Gosh I used to have Febrile Convulsions when i was a child (i'm 30 now) but they stopped when i got to about 4 years old. One of my first memories is of my Dad stroking my head and the hum of a fan nearby. Bless this little guy in the video, it does get better.

  • And a cold. We are told this created the 'perfect storm' for the seizure to occur. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us all. I somehow found this video comforting and reassuring that we are not alone. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  • Our 23 month old daughter had her first seizure 2 days ago. It was the scariest event my wife and I have ever experienced. She was picked up at daycare by my wife and was totally fine( running around and playing). Once they got home our daughter seemed quite tired. We chalked it up to only 1 hr. nap that day. Within 20 min. she was shaking and unresponsive. Spent 48 hrs in hospital. All ok now . This was by far the worst night of our lives. At the time she was being treated for an ear infection

  • I bet it is terrifying for a small child to go through something like this. I think I may have seizures (my fiance tells me he thinks thats what I have because I start to shake uncontrollably and such so far ot has only happened at night) and I know I am terrified just before I black out and when I come to.

  • Poor little child :(

Our 16 months old boy had this last night. It was terrifying. He couldn't breath anymore, became stiff and changed color. And that feeling of impotence and not knowing what to do when you see him like this is unbearable.

  • Thank you for posting this. My son had a 105 degree temperature last week. Although the doctors found nothign wrong with him, so many people were scarying me saying that he had a seizure. Seeing this is not only reassuring, but it helps me understand what to do if it ever happens. Thank you so much for sharing this moment to teach others!

  • poor little one

  • Very well done guys :) talking to him and reassuring him are the things most people forget, yet so important, keep them safe and if it continues call an ambulance. Excellent job :)
