While I haven't been posting videos for ages, I've been working on more silly ideas that haven't gone anywhere. Here's a little description about them...

1) Untitled - originally had a really cool chorus in mind, but my piano playing didn't match up to what I could hear in my head. Shame I never really got to the chorus...

2) Harmony loop - as normal, this was done on the spot. I started with the bass line and then built up each chord from there, adding in notes I thought would go well with that particular chord only.

3) CSE (Compression Sidechain Experiment) - thought I would try out sidechaining the compression on logic as a production technique so wrote a quick passage to test it on. Wrote this in an hour while lying in bed trying to sleep... no wonder it didn't get anywhere!

4) Oh Yeah! - An attempt at serious harmony goes out the window as I discover the Gospel Choir virtual instrument.

5) She Lived in a Pretty House - this is a redo of an old song I wrote back in 2008. It's special as it's really the first proper song I'd written, but I'm not sure I can really do much more with it.

Maybe I'll get round to making a proper video in the Easter!!
