Great video, thank you! Also watching in the UK, just starting out growing my own vegetables and this was very helpful. Knew it was too late in August to sow pumpkin seeds but couldn't wait until next year so I did it anyway! I now have four plants growing at an alarming rate but doubting I'll have any fruits this Halloween! Thank you for sharing your experience. :)

how long does a seed take to grow a vine ?

Hi. The soil in my yard has a very large clay content. The "hills" used for the pumpkin seeds were triple mix available at garden stores. I found that from the time the first sprouts appeared until there were actual identifiable vines was about a month. I hope this helps. Denny.

Good to know it's growing well. You were later than usual in planting - usually it's late May/early June. What area are you in?
