for 7000 bucks you can get an amazingly good quality 24 feet yurt, i don't see the "not really cheap" factor. You don't have a mortgage on a crazy suburb plot. Comfort in your yurt really depends on the quality of it. You can have more info at Ulantaaj yurts, they made themselves a good name.

When you said it gets cold and hot is that both in cold weather the wood stove making it hot? I have read that yurts were surprisingly cool in warm weather because of the was they vent. Thank you Jim.
