It wasn't so bad. I cut myself one time with a razor blade by accident... sliced across the tip of my finger and then couldn't play the guitar for over 2 yrs.

I almost clicked thumbs down, when you started to open the wound, then the reminder that I cut myself yesterday, under the index finger nail, from the back/ top towards the tip. I don't consider myself a knife handling expert, but I am not new to knives

Damn, that sucks. I cut my hand pretty bad a month or two back, right at the knuckle of my index finger. Not a lot between the bone and the surface, so, my knuckle got a bit of fresh air. Thankfully I just missed the ligaments, so I just went down to the hospital and got it glued (They were gonna stitch it, but my hand had been stabbed enough that day, thank you very much) Was fine up until getting it glued, which hurt like hell. Stiff for the next week or two but fine besides. Good luck!
