I did this with a kitchenaid stand mixer! Worked great!

You can do the shake in a jar method. I did it 23 years ago as a girl scout. I've taught my nieces how to make it that way as well. It really does take a lot of time, and you only want your jar half full to start with. It's a great activity for kids and they get so excited to eat their own butter on toast.
Organic raw heavy cream is the best! Love it.

After you squeeze all of the buttermilk out, if you put it back into the food processor for another minute, would that be like "whipped butter"? Because that's exactly what I did. It's in the frige right now. I want to see how much it will set up and what the texture will be like. After the second time in the food processor, it looked like cake frosting. I hope I didn't ruin it. Heavy cream ain't cheap ya know! Lol.
