@oneofthefew100 Can you try using your pinky instead of your ring finger? That may work. If not, you could try using your pinky in combination with a "bar" technique instead of using your thumb -- that is, playing the top 2-3 strings with just one finger (your index finger). While the third string down should be open, you may have to press it down if you're using this "bar" technique. That's fine -- it shouldn't make too noticeable of a difference.
