@ctillman0 ugh.you've got to be kidding me. jan di irritated me to death. she had awful eating habits and all she did was CRY. she was a weak person when in reality, the character of makino tsukushi is really strong and independent. i prefer inoue mao as makino (my most favorite) & barbie hsu because at least they showed that spunk and tough girl exterior. jan di was just so loud at the beginning and a weakling at the end. she always had to depend on ji hoo during those rough times with jun pyo.

Oh maaaan! Watching Meteor Garden brings back a lot of childhood memories!!!
I have to say Meteor Garden, because of my nostalgia XD (But objectively, HYD is the best adaptation overall.)

BOF, Jandi is really pretty. On the other versions it was too obvious. The girl is suppose to be ordinary looking and at time pretty.. Bof character fit that perfectly. The other two was pretty but with Jandi there was always something new to her she was beautiful inside and out. She was a breath of fresh air.

Jap. girl and Tai. girl is already naturally pretty! LOL, they really didn't need any "makeovers."
The Korean girl doesn't have the same type of natural beauty, but I loved how they filmed the sequence and how the guy talked to her.

i like how japan version made the script on this part. totally different from the other two version.
