The Cricket CAPTR is a basic entry level "clam-shell" style cell phone exclusively for Cricket Wireless. This mobile is about as simple as they come. However, sometimes simple is good. As I mention the advantage to "Clam-Shell" style cell phones is they are more durable than candy-bar style phones. You don't have to worry about locking/unlocking them and if they drop from your hands usually they will be okay. It works just fine as a cell phone. It gets just about as good service as our Samsung Messager II got. The speaker phone was loud and clear. One disadvantage is the phone does not feature a full sized keyboard which means texting must be done using traditional "Slow" input or "t9" predictable text input. This might be a deal-breaker for the big "texters" & "e-mailers" out there.

For bonus features it has bluetooth, which is somewhat rare on entry level clam-shell phones. It also has a 1.3megapixel camera which is pretty worthless for the most part. You can take very basic pictures and picture msg them to your friends. CAPTR also features a front facing LCD that tells you time/date/battery life indicator/voicemail & text indicator.

Overall, if you can spare the extra cash you might consider upgrading. If you just need a basic, reliable cell phone then the Cricket CAPTR is probably for you.

I need to get pictures from this phone. How do you do this with or without a USB chord. Im having trouble getting these off the phone and onto my Dell inspiron windows 7 system. Please help. BTW I do have this same phone. Had it for two years and love cricket. But I need to get them off of here. Its full and dont want to delete them. It seems Bluetooth is running on my system. Thank you

this phone sucks and the camera is very blurry you cant even tell what your taking a picture of i hated this phone...
