San Bernardino man to reunite with dog following arrest

Dave Thomas of San Bernardino is hoping to take his dog, Buzz, home Wednesday after a week apart. Thomas was arrested Feb. 13 and because police say no one else was available to take the dog, the animal was placed in the shelter. News of Thomas' separation from his dog, and inability to pay the fine to get his dog out of the shelter, has generated hundreds of dollars in donations. Maria Sanchez, the woman who posted information about Thomas' dilemma on Facebook, has raised more than $2,000 to help the man and his dog.

seriously, the piece of shit is suing the woman for the rest of the money? HE'S FUCKING LUCKY SHE DID WHAT SHE DID. or his dog would still be in the shelter or euthanized by now. really? count your blessings and drop the lawsuit.

he's lucky she even did that, most people wouldn't have helped him out. she did what she said she was going to do, get the dog out. he doesn't deserve that extra money. she's a saint for doing what she did in the first place. you sure as hell know that couple wouldn't have raised the money to get the dog back.

And technically, she did what she said she was going to do. I'd consider her a piece of shit if she kept all the money and didn't get the dog out or fixed. How about instead of suing her, go out and get a job and contribute to society instead of getting locked up? I'm sure that wasn't his first time in jail.

did you see anyone else helping him before her? NO. she should've returned the rest of the money to the people donating or donated it to another rescue. she said she would pay for the charges to get the dog out and to be fixed. why should he get the extra money? to do what with it? buy drugs? come on now, he should drop the law suit. Maybe if he didn't end up in jail this wouldn't have happened. Be a little more responsible next time and remember if you have animals they depend on you.
