If anything, by making non yellow minifigs racism comes into play. All the minifigs before were yellow and didn't mean anything. The earlier heads were just smiley faces so it was generic and applicable to any race or gender. The body and accessories would determine the rest. And now there are non-yellow colors people might become upset where there aren't as many ____ colored minifigs suggesting some sort of bias from LEGO.

Well the ending suggests its a series. Plus they are making more Lego Atlantis sets. So I imagine its going to be a series.
