This song was written when Alex Ryterski and Andy Jones of The Mondays were walking down the street in Carbondale, and Alex saw a strip of tar that looked like a snake. The rest is music history. They, along with Dan Staggs and Christopher McCastle came on my rotation show one Monday night for a special live performance of their songs, amidst them was their original, "Snake In the Road." Three years later, Nate Fisher helped me to put their song to sight in a music video that uses theological symbols to reflect the story of a snake in the road. The moral of the story is simply to care about the poor snake thats out there on the road. Because everyone is selfish, and no one seems to care about the snake/world or anything thats there.
Umm... Ok it was.. funny... kind of. But, what's it's point?

@BigJonas7 Well, if you take one thing from this story I've told...it's to Care about the poor snake that's out there on the road...because everyone is selfish, and none seem to care about that snake, or anything that's there.... The point is to show some care and attention to a brother or sister who is lost and needs a helping hand with his travels down the road of life.
