I apologize for not checking the time stamp before replying. The three disciples standing there would see the Kingdom of God before they died.
The disciples saw Jesus in all of His glory and splendor, talking with a glorified Moses and Elijah. The disciples were dumbstruck at the sight and they fell on their faces (Matthew 17:6).
Wow, there were A LOT of real Christians in that church. I wanna go there! Hehe, I say this only because my guess is that there are quite a few professing Christians that go to church, but are not.
I agree that we might just fall over and die, however, it has ONLY been 2000 years. End times are approaching. The Jews finally became the nation of Israel in 1948 like God said they would. No other people group has been scattered for 2000 years, later to become a nation. But God said this would be a sign of His imminent return.
This video does not portray the "rapture" the way the Biblical writters intended.
Nobody would "dissappear" like that... they'd just fall over and die.
The sad thing is... it's been well over "2000 years" and still nothing. Christians have been saying for EVERY SINGLE YEAR "Jesus is coming back soon".
To Nathangray12345 -- yes, we see bad things happening all over the earth, BECAUSE global communication allows us to see the whole earth. In times past, people only saw what was happening in their own little area, but there were most likely bad things happening all over the earth then, too. People just didn't know it.
"Jesus is coming quickly!" 2000 years or more is "quickly"??
Firedra continues: but to tear down someone elses beliefs with harsh words like that is just...bad. howd you like it if someone tore you down for not believing?
Excuse me, Firedra, but Christians are constantly tearing us atheists down for not believing. You yourself say that you "could say it's stupid not to [believe in God]." Many Christians like to throw that Bible verse at us, the one that says "the fool says there is no god." But for some reason, we can't criticise your beliefs??
Firedra writes: and even if you dont believe in God, dont critisize him on a public domain.
Why not? It's way past time to realize that religion and religious beliefs should not be shielded from criticism. And we are not really criticizing God (if there is one, or more), but rather beliefs about God.

@clint25n
You like to respond to comments that are two years old to start pointless discussions?
Fine. Luke 9:27 man. Can't have your cake and throw it at everybody else when it comes to this stuff.
