  • Eva Randovà had sung several Soprano-Parts like Kundry, Ortrud or Santuzza. But most of her Parts in Opera-Produktions where Mezzo- or Alto-Parts. She was famous for her Interpretation of Amneris, Eboli, Azucena, Ulrika, Ficka and Erda. In the 1980th she sang at the Vienna State Opera both, the Soprano-Part of the Countess and the Alto-Part of the Witch in the Opera Rusalka.

  • The same suspect here. :) Rysanek sounds more mezzo than her. Heard a recording of Janacek's "Kata Kabanova" with her in an alto part of Kabanicha - there's no hint for the mezzo sound from her.

  • Randova mezzosoprano? ............
