The story line is quite simple to go along with if you're familiar with Romeo and Juliet, considering the song is basically the story itself. The Yu Yu Hakusho characters belong to the Montague clan, while the Inuyasha characters belong to the Capulet clan. Some obvious roles are: Hiei .. Romeo; Kagome .. Juliet; Kurama .. Mercutio; Kikyo .. Tybalt; The Demon Announcer .. Chorus; and so on.

Very interesting! I wasn't familiar with the song, so I was glad you had the lyrics written out. I liked all the little battles and injuries and how they fit in with the Romeo and Juliet storyline. My very favorite scene,though, had to be the the fade out of Hiei into Kagome near the end--for a second there, my mind was boggling at the way his legs were exposed when his clothing turned into hers. LOL!
