  • And people think Joey Jordison and Travis Barker are the best drummers lol.

  • You know, I don't really like all the comparisons .

In my opinion, Gavin is an awesome drummer - not because his fast or groovy drumming, but because his great creativity and his feeling .

That's why I like Mike Portnoy, Gavin Harrison or even John Bonham more then other drummers, such as death/ black (and other fast-metal drumming genres) - because they are geniuses, talented and creative .

  • @THEYahamaDrummer Thats really comparing such different genres and drumming styles...travis barker and joey are both great drummers in their bands and otherwsie...just like Gavin is a god within PT and all his other projects in the Prog and jazz world

  • @TheMatadrum Of course there is more drummers who are great drummers - Keith Moon, Neil Peart, Dave Weckl, John Blackwell, Mike Mangini, Jeff Porcaro, Terry Bozio, Ginger Baker and the rest of the list is very long ...

  • Aren't we lucky to have a drummer as wonderful and as tallented as Gavin is, to entertain us and teach us with all his experience and knowledge of playing drums on youtube. Simply amazing!

  • @JBStyleil AND Martin Axenrot... Listen to Opeth's new album Heritage and you'll see what I'm talking about. :)

  • @THEYahamaDrummer more cake for us ;)

  • @THEYahamaDrummer joey Jordison and Travis Barker are far far from best drummers if you compare them with guys as Gavin. Nice comment dude. You absolutely got it.
