Despite John McCain's sacrifice in the Vietnamese prison camps, I find myself not really buying the whole war hero thing. We're talking about a guy who participated in on of the most lethal actions the war, bombing runs over North Vietnam, in which he essential bombed schools, hospitals, and villages.

I find it hard to accept that his five year sacrifice not only erases his homocidal actions but also elevates him to the rank of hero. It just too much to swallow, frankly.

McCain probably hates everything, including himself. He's his own worst enemy.

Every time we look at him we only think of what a pathetic old angry loser he is. What a sad career ending.

What kind of backwards ass country even allows non-citizens to join their military?

When I served in USAF, I can remember a few times when there was special announcements in the on-base news paper stating that certain Airmen had gained full citizenship of the United States, they were already on the path when they joined the military, proving themselves through education and service got them citizenship. I am proud of those individuals, hard work and dedication does pay-off!
