  • @MajSolo The HAWK system uses about the same computer systems as the PATRIOT. They will work together very well for a fine defense system.

  • Hör ich da den HFw Reinhardt im Hintergrund ?

  • Homing All the Way Killer ....... its like Rocky trying to hit a Chineese skelleton ..... or .... something else .... HAWK = NO BRAINS ... it is like a grizzly Bear .... absolutely no brains from the 60's, the Patriot looks much more interesting ...

  • This is one of my favorite videos since 1996 .... feel the smoke, look at the clear sky, and see the enemy get hit .... mmmm

it is a nice vid , it is just that it relays so much of the REAL thing ... this is a old vid if anyone wonders ... but it is one of the great ones ... SAMs might be a tad bit underestimated. And any new develoment and fielding of new pieces have not been taken seriously while the russians are spraying out new systems almost all the time .... on the other hand ... hmm.

  • If I remember right, in 1986, a Hawk Missile costs around $360,000 a round. LOL dont ask me what the exchange rate was though...

  • HAWK , das hatte was...!!!!

    war CC bei der 1./36

und 89 und 91 auf Kreta zum ASP

  • Echt super Video obwohl die HAWK bei der Bundeswehr garnicht mehr geübt und gelehrt wird vielen Dank! :)

  • I was in Yuma, AZ working on the hawk missle system, well until they final retired it.

  • This on the NATO base on Kreta in Greece.I was there in 1988 withe the hawk missiles for the dutch airforce.

  • I worked as the operator of the Patriot missile in the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force.

    It was very substantial days.
