For the idiots comparing Allen Fieldhouse to Bramlage:
We were FORCED to build a new arena because we packed so many people into Ahearn and it was so loud, that it violated about every health code, fire code, and facilities code in the book.
If we played games in Ahearn still, although our students (in the middle) are louder than KU's anyday, the roof would crumble onto the court and all the players would do.
Learn a little bit about physics, architecture before your dumbass comments.

Ahearn was FAR louder than allen, first it was built before allen so you posers copied our fieldhouse, second we left because it would have been much cheaper to build a new arena than to add on to ahearn, but god i wish we didn't leave it...

Also if Ahearn was so great why did you leave it? If it was so great you'd still be playing there. You get louder for one year than us, and that will stay the same when KSU wins 4 games in conference play.
